Assessment

Warfighter Psych specializes in psychological assessments for medical professionals, utilizing validated tools such as the MMPI-3 and 16-PF to evaluate mental health and occupational performance. These assessments, conducted virtually for convenience, are evidence-based, aiming to identify biopsychosocial factors that influence resilience and medical/surgical performance. This service is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of physicians and surgeons, ensuring confidentiality and alignment with the rigorous standards of medical practice.

Treatment

At Warfighter Psych, we understand the intense stress, cynicism, and burnout inherent in the medical profession, which can lead to emotional exhaustion and a diminished sense of professional efficacy. Our practice offers evidence-based psychotherapies such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, specifically tailored to address the complex biopsychosocial challenges physicians and surgeons face. These therapies are not merely treatments; they are essential tools crafted to bolster well-being and enhance job performance for those in the healthcare field. Our dedication to evidence-based care is crucial in effectively managing the intricate aspects of physician stress and burnout, ensuring our clients receive the most pertinent and impactful support available.
